Chocolate Chilli Cupcakes
Ingredients
- Flour: 180g
- Caster sugar: 150g
- Cocoa powder: 15g
- Vegetable oil: 75g
- Baking soda: 1 tsp
- Vinegar: 1 tbsp
- Green chilli chopped: 3
- Water: 250ml
For ganache:
- Dark chocolate chopped: 200g
- Heavy Cream: 100ml
- Green Chillies Chopped: 3
Method
Step 1. Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, caster sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda) in a bowl and whisk well
Step 2. Incorporate the wet ingredients (water, vinegar, vegetable oil) into the mixture
Step 3. Add chopped chillies to the mixture
Step 4. Pour the batter into cupcake moulds and bake at 180C for 20mins
Step 5. For the ganache, heat the heavy cream and add in the chillies
Step 6. Pour the mixture over the chopped dark chocolate
Step 7. Let the cupcakes cool down for 5-10mins
Step 8. Pipe the ganache over and sprinkle some cocoa powder over the cupcakes and enjoy the cupcakes!
